  1. This is such a wonderful competition! This is a reallly hard question because I loove all the book scenes so much! There are soo many good action, suspenseful and romance scenes! But in all books, I really like when there's that point in the story where some little piece clicks and makes sense, soo when Four's father is revealed as the character talked about in the very beginning as the guy Tris' dad worked with who had the "disgraceful son that turned against their faction" I really liked the relation! Even though I really do not like Marcus :D

  3. First of all I just want to say thank you for giving us this WONDERFUL opportunity, to win tickets to the divergent premiere. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I loved the whole book, so its a hard decision to choose which was my favourite scene. I think the scene that really grabbed at me was when Tris sees Four's fears in the simulation. I always find myself replaying the scene over and over again in my head. Mostly I find the whole book brilliant, fantastic, suspenseful and entertaining from the very beginning till the end.

I really liked how in Allegiant Tris forgave her brother after all he had done because she realised the value of family and I like how this showed that even if she had killed people she was truly good.
I also like the bit leading on from this where she faced the death serum. I liked how she used her family and friends to give her hope even when she had lost all herself ; she used it to get her through it all . I thought it was really beautiful and cute the way Love brought her faith and hope .

    "One choice will define you."

  5. My favourite scene is definitely Tris' final fear landscape. Just imagining how it looked to the people watching the screens who couldn't see what was going on is hilarious.

  6. First of all I want to thank you for this WONDERFUL giveaway you presented us with and the opportunity to win tickets.THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I loved the whole book and picking a favourite scene is very hard to choose. I think the scene that most grabbed me and got me jumping out of my chair is when Tris is getting beaten up and Four comes (with his almighty glory) and saves her. I'm always repeating this scene in my head when i'm reading the book. This book as a whole is amazing and full of suspense and action.

what a lovely giveaway! this should be such an easy question to answer but with three books the possibilites are endless! i think one of the scenes i really do love is at the very beginning of divergent when tris is having her hair cut by natalie and the whole book is introduced because you know its the start of the most amazing series ever :) second errr when tobias has to throw the knife at tris and it hits her ear a little i think that was sooo well written and it makes me smile so much :) and finally i would say one from allegiant but im still upset about it ughhfg but i loved the zip wire scene in divergent too that was so well written and i just really loved that part :)

  9. Favourite moments.... [spoiler]

So many to choose from, so many shocking twists and turns that left me gripped reading it for the first time... but overall - when Tris realises she can manipulate the simulations and the power that gives her. I love seeing her start to believe in herself and believe she has a chance fighting Jeanine and all the evil things she is witnessing. My first time reading it, I remember cheering her on but also desperately reading as fast as I could to find out what happened next! I loved watching Tris grow and realise how strong she really was, and had been all along.

Fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck everyone, what an amazing prize :)

  10. I really liked the scene when Tris jumped from the train for the first time... and then jumped from the roof! My heart was racing as I was reading it :) my email is nats (at) natshome dot co [dot] uk. :)

  11. My favourite scene is Tris's simulation in Diveregent. I fell in love with her character at that moment. When she decides to switch to Dauntless and she is the first one to jump into that chasm, where she just has to have faith that there will be something down there to catch her…its the moment that Tris becomes one of my absolute favorite characters. Tris is the only transfer from Abnegation and everyone is making fun of her, and they’re already underestimating her before she can even do anything and the fact that she undresses herself a bit and throws it at Peter, and then takes that first jump. Its beautiful and I love that scene. Its also the scene where she and Four meet for the first time, and where she changes her name from Beatrice to Tris, so I just love it. Its the one scene where I’ll probably tear up and jump up and down in my seat when I see the film.

My favourite scene from the trilogy comes at the end of Allegiant. Whilst there are many beautiful "Fourtris" scenes throughout the trilogy, one of my favourite moments between them comes after Tris has already passed away yet she never truly left Tobias at all. In the zipline scene in which Four scatters Tris's ashes, he loses a part of her physically but gains an even greater emotional connection to her as he is able to understand her even better by experiencing something she loved. Even after her death Tris is there for Four, to help him conquer his fears. That's why I love this scene the best - plus it helps all of us say goodye to Tris as well!!

PS. Thankyou for the opportunity of having a chance of winning these tickets!!

First of all THANK YOU! for this opportunity. The Divergent trilogy are my favourite books ever so it would be amazing to win these tickets.

My favourite scene has to be in Insurgent when Tris is put on the peace serum in Amity. I love this scene because it is hilarious and shows us a completely different side to Tris. My favourite line is definitely when Tobias says 'Come on. Oh for god's sake. I'll just carry you.' I also love some of the things Tris come's out with when Tobias is arguing with Johanna like, 'You have a nice voice.' Another funny part is when Tris is saying to Tobias, 'That's why you like me! Because you're not very nice either!'

Thank you so so much for this competition, I really hope you consider me because this is my dream!!

  14. Amazing giveaway thank you SO much for the chance to enter it! :)

My FAVOURITE scene had to be at the end of INSURGENT *Spoilers*

When Tobias showed them the video which was going to reveal to everyone the truth of Chicago and how the book ends with "Then the shouting began" :)

  15. To start with I am going to say a great big THANK YOU for this competition as to answer this you have to have read the books, unlike a lot of the other competitions. I love all three books so much, I could happily say they have dominated my life since I read them. It's very hard to think of a particular scene that I enjoyed the most out of all the scenes from divergent. As my favorite scene I am going to choose the scene where Tris is being hung over the chasm by Peter, Al and co. I really love the part of this scene where Four comes to rescue her from death. I love the way that Four shows true bravery in this scene and represents truly what dauntless is about, where'as the others hanging Tris over the chasm are cowards, who are scared of loosing and so want rid of the competition, instead of being brave and fighting for it, the opposite of what they should be in Dauntless. I love the way Four protects Tris in this scene, and is brave for her, defending her even when they were not yet together and she was only his pupil.

  16. First of all I would like to say a great big THANK YOU for this competition, as to enter this competition you have to have read the books, unlike a lot of the other competitions. I love the divergent series so much, and it would mean the world to have the opportunity to go to the premiere. It's an incredibly hard decision to make, but I have to say that my favorite scene from divergent is when Peter, Al and co are hanging Tris over the chasm. I love this scene because just as you think Tris' quest to become dauntless is over, Four comes and saves her from her fate. I love the way that Four represents Dauntless like a true warrior, he is brave and he goes to rescue her despite being outnumbered. I also like how this contrasts with how Peter and Al are attempting to murder Tris out of fear, as they do not want to loose their place in Dauntless, suggesting that they are cowards and do not really deserve to be there. Overall I love the way the scene hints at the future relationship that will happen between Tris and Four/Tobias. In this scene we see that he cares for her because he comes to rescue her, and beats his students up rather than telling them off. This is when the true Four starts to be revealed, as his hard core is removed and we get to see the Four that all readers of Divergent love!!

  17. thank you so much for this amazing giveaway! i loved the part when four and tris was climbing up the Ferris wheel! i felt like i was tris, climbing up each step with four behind me! that scene felt so real! x

  19. First of all, thank you for the competition. I appreciate that it's not one of these "follow and RT" but that we can actually justify ourselves and be creative! I'll try my best but english is not my first language so please forgive my grammatical mistakes (However i do live in the uk so I'm eligeable for the competition :p and I'm 100% available on sunday for the premiere! :) )

    /!\ SPOILERS FROM ALLEGIANT

My favourite scene from the divergent series comes from the last pages of allegiant. I'm Talking about the scene in which Tobias and all Tris's friends releases Tris's ashes, over coming his fears of Heights and riding the zip line.
This passage was heartbraking, but also beautiful. It shows Tobias's grief but also the legacy left by Tris. It shows that even after a loved one passes away, and are not their physically, They never completely leave you, as They give you strenght to keep on living. tobias, without Tris's memory, would have never Been able to ride the zip line: even dead, she will keep influencing him in a good way. By releasing the ashes, Four is able to say goodbye and move on. It's an end, but also the begining of a new story, in which Tris would never be completely absent.
I hope it makes sense, but yeap, Veronica Roth made my heart MELT the day i read this scene :) it's accurate, beautiful and a bit sad, but it's a wonderful conclusion to the series :')

  20. Basically I love any scene with Four in it however I think my favourite scene from the first novel would be either the scene where Tris sees Four's fears in the simulation or the part when Tris and Four are climbing the ferris wheel. I also love the scene when Peter saves Tris (without giving too much away) in Insurgent!

  21. Thank you so much for this competition! Such an incredible prize! It's so unbelievably hard to define one scene as my favourite because there are so many gorgeously written scenes to choose from, but I would have to say Tris' final scene in Allegiant (only after re-reading it did i fully appreciate the writing, i thing the full body shaking and sobbing distracted me slightly). Of course I didn't want Tris to go, but the way she went out was absolutely beautiful and so perfect for her character. It truly showed her divergence and ability to act with selflessness, intelligence and bravery. Loved it just as much as I hated it. (still crying about it months later)

Thanks for the opportunity to win these tickets :) My favourite scene is the Choosing Ceremony because it’s such a pivotal moment for Tris – that particular spark of bravery when she makes her choice is a turning point for her, and it also delivers an important message – we have to choose the path that is right for us, that allows us to pursue the things that matter to us most without fear of judgement, even if it is not the easiest path to take.
