In My Postbox #14

In My Mailbox idea from Kristi @ The Story Siren, and all links take you to Amazon UK.

Hi everyone! The end of another week! Got something this week that had me giddy with joy! :D (And can I please just apologise for the pictures! Taken in bad light!).

Almost True by Keren David.
SIGNED! :D

"Ruthless killers are hunting Ty so the police move him and his mum to a quiet seaside town. But a horrific attack and a bullet meant for Ty prove that he’s not safe. On the road again, Ty’s in hiding with complete strangers . . . who seem to know a lot about him. Meanwhile he’s desperate to see his girlfriend Claire, and terrified that she may betray him. Ty can’t trust his own judgement and he’s making dangerous decisions that could deliver him straight to the gangsters. A thrilling sequel to When I Was Joe, shot through with drama and suspense."

I am so excited for this! I absolutely adored the first book, When I Was Joe (of which you can find my review here). And it's signed! :D Argh! Thank you to Frances Lincoln for this and Keren for signing it! :D

I also got a second copy of Linger! Thank you Scholastic! It came with some really cool stuff. A Linger sell sheet which opens out and is really cool! A Linger postcard and a Mockingjay postcard!

Well that's what I got this week. What about you? Hope everyone has a good week. :)

  1. Almost True is brilliant. I read it before When I was Joe ( early proof copy) and thought it was the better of the two.
Have you read either Dead Boy Talking by Linda Strachan or Crossing The Line by Gillian Philip - 2 more YA stories about knife crime.
