I loved John's last book for younger readers, Noah Barleywater Runs Away. It dealt with death in such a touching, innocent and yet realistic way and was definitely one of the best books I read in 2010. Now, he's set to release another children's/YA book. It's called The Terrible Thing That Happened To Barnaby (watch out Tom Clempson, I think someone's coming for your Award for Longest Book Title!) and it's out 2nd August, and published by the lovely folk at Doubleday/Random House.
